...many hearts, many minds, one future | |

Ten years ago, The Delta Strategy was created to help tackle the challenging and complex problems in our community. During those 10 years, The Delta Strategy collaborated with representatives from business, government, and the nonprofit sector in an effort to more effectively address issues such as poverty, education, safety, and workforce development, to name a few. The Delta Strategy operated under the fundamental principle that real change in the community begins with honest and open dialogue across the community, followed by swift action. The Delta Strategy’s unique approach was used to encourage, engage, and equip community change agents through the Delta process. Now after 10 years of serving a community that has experienced many changes, The Delta Strategy will undergo a change of our own as we cease operations this summer. The leadership, staff, and strategic partners of The Delta Strategy are grateful for the collaboration they fostered and the contributions they made. We celebrate our accomplishments, in general how Delta's community improvement process helped our community work together better. Delta was the pioneer of a new way to work, and it's permeating how we do business as a community. Collaboration, the use of data to measure improvement, and respecting the diversity of voices at the table is now in our DNA as a community. Although Delta will no longer be a staffed office, the Delta process will continue in the hearts and minds of our community stakeholders as we try together to make this a quality community for all.
